In this musical family tree of great teachers, artists, and genius composers it is very easy to trace the roots of piano playing from Beethoven and Czerny.   We can see that only eight generations, which is not very far, separates us from these giants.  My teacher studied with the pupil of branches descending from Liszt, Leschetitzky, Rubenstein, and Igumov.  I am thankful to them for their faithfulness to tradition, methods coming from Beethoven and Czerny through several generations of virtuoso paints' and composers, which gave me the opportunity to become a repository of such wonderful treasures.  I feel it is very important to know your heritage and where you belong.   My teaching method is the result of international experience and education in the United States and former Soviet Union.  It is my great honor and privilege to share my performance and pedagogy experience here in the Unites States and pass knowledge and method inherited from my teachers to the next generation of pianists.
